88th Legislative Recap

During the regular session, the 88th Legislature passed many successful pieces of legislation that will keep Texas moving forward on a more globally competitive path. In the second-called special session, the legislature agreed to historic property tax reduction bills. However, after four special sessions, a handful of high-profile policy matters remain incomplete including Texas public school funding measures and school choice.
