“With an historic Biennial Revenue Estimate of $188B, a 26% increase over the last biennium, there is excitement surrounding the opening of the 88th Texas Legislature. While this increased revenue may lead to additional opportunities to bolster our economy, it will also lead to many tough discussions that will take place over the next many months. These careful deliberations are critical, and encouraged, as the state should not spend taxpayer dollars frivolously…”
